Allow us to create the bases of care for a lifetime of health.

Nutritional Support

Monthly prenatal vitamins and weekly food baskets filled with nutritional proteins, fruits and vegatables.

Studies have shown that proper nutrition from the time before conception and throughout the pregnancy benefits the baby during development and as the child grows throughout its life. Opting for nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and foods high in omega-3 healthy fats instead of highly processed foods will benefit your and the baby’s health. Improving nutritional balance with proper micronutrients and protein among women with inadequate nutrition has improved birth outcomes, including better birthweights and decreased maternal complications (Marshall et al., 2022). Our program will provide these services and more, benefiting not only the expectant mothers but the community as a whole.

Our program aims to achieve and maintain a healthy weight during pregnancy. It has been proven that this is an essential factor in reducing the potential for pre-eclampsia, eclampsia (hypertension), gestational diabetes, and associated birth complications. This also reduces future health complications for the mothers, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancers. Moderate exercise during pregnancy has been shown to lower the incidence of weight gain and can carry over to the postpartum period (Hanley et al., 2022). Our program enlists professionally trained exercise coaches certified in maternal exercise and safety. We will follow you throughout your pregnancy and offer postpartum classes so you can get back to you.

Our weekly educational classes include topics like nutrition, exercise, child care. We discuss the birthprocess and many options for delivery. We have sessions on meditation and relaxation and the benefits to mother and baby. Our case workers follow you throughout the entire program to ensure you experience the best possible outcome.

Journals are provided to track your journey and progress. Educational material is provided during each class to keep for future reference. Computers are on site for use with additional educational programs. The center is available to answers questions and concerns. Your success is our success.
